Random Acts of Kindness

“Live wisely among those who are not believers,
and make the most of every opportunity.” Col. 4:5
NLT

Our 28 Days of Random Acts of Kindness began Monday, January 23rd
and the last day will be Sunday, February 19th.

Here are some of the reports from fellow members of Hosanna and what the Lord
has led them to do to reach out to people around them.

Send us your acts of kindness at staff@hosannafirst.com

Jan. 24th: I sent a message of appreciation for great memories to a friend in Hawaii I haven't seen since before I got married.

Jan. 24th: I bought a Mochasippi for my boss today because he loves them and he looked like he needed something special.

Jan 25th: Today, I brought supper to my co-worker, for her family.

Jan 26th: I counseled with a friend over the phone about a decision he had to make.  I encouraged him that he had the capability of taking on that challenge and had grown beyond what I knew him to be just a few years ago.  Just as I was about to hang up, I had a mental image of how Jesus saw him.  I was able to catch him before he hung up to tell him the picture of how I saw the Lord loving on him.  When we were ending our conversation, I could hear in his voice how emotionally moved he was by that picture.  I believe his knowing the Lord's affection for him will help him in his decision and his hearing the Lord in prayer.

Feb 2nd: My young son was moved with compassion to pray for his classmate who is always "getting in trouble" and asked the Lord to help him in school.

Feb 3rd: I posted a humorous poster for my coworkers as a pick-me-up for them.
